Carson in His Wheat Field

Lisa & Dave made this adorable little human, Carson. Carson wanted to make his entrance into the world a little early, so he spent a few days in the NICU, but came home surprisingly quickly. So quickly that Lisa & Dave probably could be in the Guinness Book of World records for taking home the littlest baby! This little baby grew with some good old fashioned Mommy Milk, (yes, to me, that's a proper noun) and when his mom and dad felt he was old and big enough to go out into the world, (a whopping 9 lbs!) we had his first photo shoot! He was the most content, well-behaved little dude ever. NICU babies DO have a reputation for being very well behaved (thanks to those amazing NICU nurses and docs!), so Carson was kind of showing off. But regardless, he was as content as could be, despite the several outfit changes and dressing him like Baby Jesus. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Lisa, a high school teammate of mine and meeting her husband Dave, who looks freakishly similar to my husband. Love it when these impromptu photo sessions go even better than expected, especially when there are cute 9 pounders involved.
