The Adventures of Carly & Ryan

If there's anyone that will walk across an active stream 36 weeks pregnant, it's Carly. From as long as I can remember, Carly has always had an appetite for adventure, travel, and adrenaline rushes. She's traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to play soccer as a teenager, had a destination wedding in the Outer Banks, and is currently a trauma ICU travel nurse with her husband Ryan. If that doesn't scream cool, I don't know what does. Due to the lack of wanting to pose for the camera, Carly and I met up prior to Ryan meeting us so that we could risk our lives and expensive camera equipment to get a water shot that makes Carly look like a model. I'm pretty sure everyone that caught glimpses of her assumed she was. I mean, just look at her. When Ryan showed up, he rose to the occasion and put on his best romantic face. Again, you would think they've done this before! This was such a great evening- catching up with an old (not years old, but length of time I've known her) friend and getting to know her husband a little better. This baby (boy or girl?) is really fortunate to have parents like Carly & Ryan. They have this fun, romantic, and adventurous love between them that gives me legit goosebumps. Can't wait to meet this little human.
